My brother who is not internet savy has a very nice 24 foot Streamline previously used as a temporary living space. He has all original documents and sales invoice. He states it is a "Lodi" model but my search has come up blank. May be a special addition model, I don't know. Originaly purchased new in Bend Or. Trying to ascertain approximate value. Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks
Jim

Do you know the year? Is it an aluminum exterior? Never heard of a "lodi" model. It may not be a Streamlne.

Well I called him for more information this afternoon. It is not a "Lodi", it is a Duke. It is original down to the window drapes. The year model is 1961 but was ordered on March first and dealer delivered on April 10th 1962. He also stated it has floor plan number 6. Serial number 2258 Model 71. It is a polished model according to him as it is not dull like an anodized skin would be. I seen it about two years ago and do remember it having a gold band on it but really never payed much attention to it.

Hard to say what it is worth. There was a '62 Dutchess (22 ft.)in prime condition went for $9,100 a week or two ago on E-Bay, but that was way too much. Your brothers might go for $1,000 to $5,000 depending on condition. Shorter units also bring more.

Thanks for the information. I am going to encourage him to hold onto it for another year or so.I may want to have it to pull behind my 1957 Studebaker E6

Hi Jim. I'm looking to purchase a Streamline. I saw a nice 1970 model in Everett, WA yesterday, but I want an older model. If you don't want it, I'd be interested in looking at it -depends on your location.

Jim,
Nice wheels, that E6. I saw a 57 Study Transtar C Cab, Red over Black two tone, Yowza!!! You have a 245 Cu." Six in yours, and altho those old trucks were built big & tuf, the Duke would be a tough pull for it. Perfect match for the Duke is a 1/2 ton 4/4, with a 5.3 to 6 liter V8; longer the wheelbase the better. With Equalizing hitch & sway control & brake controller.
Anyting bigger your looking at a 3/4 ton; or 3500 dually for the big stuff.
Theres a similar one on Ebay, temporary living quarters(california). The guy hasn't sold it in two or three auction tries, asking $4200? Check it out! Don
