Although I'm in N. Idaho count me in if you can get a club kick started. We will probably be spending most winters in S. Calif. Carl Rodgers

My Saber is a 23 ft instead of a 27ft. so I'll have a new username from now on.

I got my 67 Saber Home on Mother's day, has a lot of old paperwork in it. found the by-laws of Southern Ca. Silver Streak #1 Club amongst the things.

Also a wiring digaram and a water tank/valve digram for this trailer. As soon as I can get them scanned on a disk, I'll send them to Tom for the wiring diagram page.

"Sylvia" (Her name from a previous owner), pulled like a dream. She hadn't been pulled for 2 years and only once in the last 12 years. The 100 miles fron Boulevard, Ca. to Oceanside were uneventful.

Though I do have a question about the 7 pin connector. The 67 must be wired different than my 74 Cont. Supreme. as there were wierd thing happening when I hooked it up. Left turn signal applied brakes somewhere. but I still had brakes.
right rear tail light stayed on. etc. I'll figure it out but any help will be greatly appreciated.

The Rally at Boerne was bittersweet---kewl to see that many Streaks (20 or so), but a little wistful to learn how the numbers have dwindled, and to see that most of the Streakers are nearing the age of having to give up the ghost...An influx of new blood is what it's gonna take...They're talking about not even having a 'rally' next year, but instead, a 'reunion', where they just get together for a few days with nothing much planned out (meals, group activities, seminars, etc.)...Also, I asked about SS souveniers of the rally, and was told that there were none this year---not enough funds, and not sure if they could sell all the stuff...This was a get together of several different chapters with only two or three trailers in each...

I stayed only two nights, arriving just at dark on Friday, and leaving Sunday morning...Bunches of people swamped my trailer, taking the tour through it, asking questions, joking, basically welcoming me and being friendly...I was so busy with them it was an hour before I could even get unhooked...Most of the trailers were from the '70s, with a couple of Sterling series coaches, one being Bob Ashby's (very nice)...There was one Class A Streak Motorhome from Maryland...To me, it was beautiful....It was all a beautiful sight...Most of the Streakers had inserted jumpers into their trailer light connectors, so that all their running and clearance lights stayed on at night til they went to bed...Anyway, these are all great people with exquisite taste in trailers (of course)...

Jim; Alot of times when 12vDC wiring sits a long time the corrosion of the fixtures and connectors will cause crazy things to happen when you put the juise to them, most of the time it just takes time and cleaning to get the bugs out.Good luck, new owner of a mod-28 SS cotinental supreme, not sure of yr,yet.Good Luck.
