Howdy all. I am in the process of restoring my SS Saber. I lived in it for 1 year then made the mistake of allowing someone else to live in it for 5 years. Now I am back to square #1. Luckily this time I can now share my frustrations and progress in a forum of other Streakophiles.
I have just completed stripping it down to the walls, floor, cabinetry, and water system. Now the fun begins...I get to rebuild. I will be posting the pics soon.

How often, or when do you need to reseal the seams on the Streaks, and what is the sealant (butyl,silicone,latex, etc.)? I dont have any leaks yet, but I am trying to prevent any in the future.

Can't say how frequently sealing is needed, but have been told not to use silicone.
