I have been living in this trailer for over a year and have been adding little things such as inside storm windows, an above floor thermal barrier for laminate flooring which will be installed shortly while living here in Oregon. I was wondering if anyone has updated their electric box for computer, sound system and LCD TV and also would like to add an air conditioning unit not on the roof and has anyone done this. My last experience with living this kind of life has been with a Cortez for just so many years until it became to small. As we all know space is a premium while living in these units so my lap top and LCD TV comes in handy and would like to change the A/C unit as well as I'm over 6 foot tall.

I've been following this site and others I come across in order to take care of this trailer and have found much info here but not quite as recent as I'd like.

Thank you for all that I've learned so far and hopefully will learn more. I bought this unit at a fair price and only a dent or two but over-all in great condition. Just wanted to update the unit to fit my lifestyle, thank you again. I'll post some photos when I have some more time.

If you still have an old linear "buzzbox" converter, you should get a new electronic converter before installing computerized electronic appliances. The linear will kill the electronics. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but sooner or later. The linears let a lot of AC ripple through, which is what the electronic stuff doesn't like.
