I had gotten tired of looking at the clearance lenses on our 66 16' SS, as they are badly sunbleached to a virtually white color from many years in the Nevada sun. I had looked around a bit over the past few years, but hadn't found any replacement lenses. I recently began digging a bit more, and was finally able to locate a source for exact replacement lenses. It appears that the original lenses were "Auto Lamp" brand, and I don't know the exact lineage, but it appears that somewhere along the way, Stratolite picked up the Auto Lamp line. Stratolite is made by a plastic molding company called Acutek. The lenses for the 66 SS are the Stratolite model 42, and currently cost 3.68 each from their website.

I am not near a distributor, so I decided to replace all four clearance lenses on our trailer, and the cost for four, including shipping, was almost $25. Here is the page on their site, showing these lenses and available colors :

I have not yet receieved these lenses, but the measurements work out perfectly, and they should work great.
