Your Silver Streak is Beautiful! It does not appear that you need to do anything with the finish because it looks just like my 72 Streamline. We must have the same floor plan. I believe you had the 33 1/2 foot model? My trailer is the 33 foot with walk through double bedroom, rear bath, front (large) lr and center kitchen with tons of closet and cubbord space. The difference in our "plug" doors is that the Streamline has a small square light window in the plug that allows light. My sofa bed moves across the front or along the back windows which I prefer. Furniture cannot be moved in the new models! I will post a picture of my trailer if possible but do not have access to a digital camera as of yet. Show us the inside as well if you can. I bet your bathroom counter is that marble look formica?

Wow! Doug your SS is awesome. That is the quality of finish I want to achieve on my 76. The exterior is exactly the same as mine, and I love the red SS logo on the side. That is a nice touch as well as the "Continental Supreme" logo. I can see I have my work cut out for me to get mine up to par! LOL. Congrats on a super nice SS.

Thanks for the compliments. I do want photograph the interior too, but we have stuff stored in it at the moment, as we are selling our house. So I will have to wait until we start full-timing again this summer. When we get it all ready to roll and the things sitting all over in storage, I will get the shots and post them. The bathroom does have the marble counters. Also it is 33 and 1/2 foot, most people never get that right. I have seen people say anything from 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, of course they only made the 33 1/2. We are going to re-carpet this summer too.
We have the center beds, two twins, with walk thru between, and the nice rear bath. It also has the two built-in end tables up front, with the little sofa in-between. We replaced the original with a loveseat. I had all the lettering redone and had them add the Silver Streak on the side. (Guaranteed for 10 years to not fade!) I would love to see the inside of a Streamline someday. I almost bought one in 1987, before moving to Arizona. It was sitting on a trailer lot in Salem, Oregon, and needed all new water pipes. I loved the blue,( or were they green), tinted windows! Even better than the smoked windows on my Silver Streak. It looked so much like one of the old domeliners on the railroad lines years ago.

Doug..I hope to have access to a digital camera soon to take some pictures of the inside of my Streamline. If Tom will allow, I will post them on the site or maybe I can send them in like you did. I think the Aqua tinting came along in 1973 because my 1972 model has a very faint gold tinting with the exception of the fron windows under the awning which are the aqua tint. It is hardly apparent but if a Streamline owner looks close enough at the glass, they can tell. Tom is supposed to copy my Streamline Brochures this summer when he is through my area and post them. I have enjoyed the 1977 brochure recently posted. Those are the Silver Streaks that I remember the most.
