In my '85" SS twin bed, Mod. 3411, there are some dowl holes on the top outside rail of each side of the bed frames. Would this indicate that at some point there was a support made that would span the isle so that the 2 twins could be pushed together to make a full size bed? Of course, this would close the isle requiring a crawl across the bed to get to the rear bath.

Any answers??

Thanks

Jim

Jim, could they be just lifting holes for the covers that give you access to the top of your drawer units or water tank? Are they finished or does it just look like someone has drilled them?
otherwise I don't know but I'll bet Bob Ashby would.

Carl

These look like that they were drilled and only about 3/8 " deep. They are in the solid lip that the outside of the twin matress rest on. They are on each side of the trailer isle. May see Bob at the Houston Area SS Club Country Christmas. Will ask him.

Thanks
