I just replaced the paddle part of my gray water valve with a spare that came with my trailer. In an effort to obtain another spare I found out the company is still in business and they have a catalog and order capability on the web. There address is www.dupreeproducts.com. These valves are a little pricey but you can get just the paddle part for 5.20 each. Tom, does the Streamline use the same part?? Carl Rodgers

I don't know. My Streamline did not originally have a gray water tank. The current tank uses modern valves.

I do not have a gray water holding tank on my '71 SS Sabre. The sewer system has an a valve separate from the black water valve. Can a gray water tank be added? What about putting the rivets back?

I had a gray water tank added to my '65 Streamline. The aluminum bottom cover extends down below the rest of the belly pan, but is not a problem. I did have my axles flipped however to give me more clearance.

Replacing rivets is not a problem. They are pop rivets. This holds true for other areas on the trailer also. You can use regular pop rivets, or olympic rivets for esthetic reasons if desired. Olimpic rivets are shavable rivets so that no central rivet hole appears after the head is broken off, and then shaved.

Dupree bought Owens Products in 1992.
The valve is currently in production and is used by several RV and bus makers.
