My '77' Silver Streak is missing the "E" in Streak on the logo above the front window. Does anyone know where to obtain a replacement for the letters in the logo? Thanks in advance for any info.

ya, you can have the local print shop, make you some. the best thing would be to replace them all at one time so they all match. they should be able to sketch them out and also remove your old one's. computer's and printing sticker's should get you a really nice look.

Our 64 Silver Streak is missing the back logo, but the front is still intact. My Husband works for a Neon Sign company and they also do computer graphic's. We are going to take a rubbing of the front sign and have new one's made out of aluminum. Under the Silver Streak sign is also a small sign that reads Deluxe Clipper. We are going to have them all made at once. We will let you know how they turn out. The originals were made out of some type of plastic that does not stand up to the Southern Ca. Sun. this is our first SS and we are so pleased to have purchased this great trailer.

cool sound's real good. there are a lot of uv inhibitor's and stuff in the plastic's now. i am also in ca. central, by fresno. and my front one's and the side one that say's 3411 supreme. are both faded. i just haven't dealt with those yet. but i will. they are, truely cool trailer's. go tour a new a.s. there around eighty grand. and exactly the same minus the plastic counter's. the similarity inside is fascinating.

Thanks for all the suggestions on graphics, but I was really looking for a replacement plastic letter. I guess I'll check with a plastics store and see if I can find similar plastic and make one using the pattern of one of the other "E"s. Tom, thanks again for this terrific message board and thank all of you for replying to my message!! I will be taking my SS on a trip to Portland, Ore. for the big barbershop contest the first week in July.

Gayle, have you thought about tracing the other E onto a piece of 1/8 inch plastic sheet and having somebody cut you out a new one with a bandsaw or scrollsaw, then all you have to do is round the edges a little, paint it and reinstall. Carl Rodgers
