Greetings: where might I find a set (4) of the optional mag wheels for a 1978 supreme rocket? Is there a junkyard somewhere that specializes in Silver Streaks? All guidance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, George.

These wheels were made by Western Wheel Co. which changed ownership several times and was absorbed. The current Western Wheel Co. is a different co.

They are ordinary cast aluminum "mag" wheels, nothing special except for the 6 lug holes.

If you find any inspect them closely for corrosion, dents and cracks as they cannot be repaired other than remachining the machined surfaces to remove minor corrosion.

Personally I prefer steel wheels. As long as they are light truck/trailer wheels they are much stronger and will not break like a cast aluminum wheel can. Just make sure any replacement wheels have the same width and offset as the originals or you may have trouble mounting/dismounting them (fender clearance).
