26í Self-Contained Aluminum Travel Trailer
Classic and Rare Ė It took 3 Ĺ years to restore to near original condition.
more than 6 per week were hand produced from 1948 to late 1970ís, after
that until 1996 they were built to order only. The Silver Streak was a
very expensive trailer to build. The flooring and walls/skin were built
before the interior was installed through the door. This produced a
trailer with more usable floor space than Airstream trailers. They also
installed a substantially stronger frame than Airstream.
∑ Rare non-anodized skin washed with pure aluminum acid.
∑ Buffed with sander/polisher combo using numerous grades of abrasive.
∑ Waxed with Teflon fortified sealer.
∑ All new glass and insect screens.
∑ New brakes, bearings, chrome rims, and tires.
∑ New propane tanks, regulators, and valves.
∑ New taillights and running lights.
∑ New deep-cycle battery.
∑ Custom ladder and luggage rack.
∑ Refurbished: Roof vents, propane heater, propane stove/oven, propane/electric refrigerator, hot water heater, interior lights.
∑ Floating laminated wood flooring over vapor barrier with unique trim.
∑ Interior meticulously painted with premium oil-based paint.
∑ Wall panels replaced where needed, polished with Howards Feed-N-Wax.
∑ New custom made twin beds.
∑ New faucets, mirrors, kitchen splash guard.
∑ Kitchen sink refinished professionally.

1. There was too much restoration done on this beauty to list. I rebuilt this trailer to last forever.

this Silver Streak. Itís also not a rare or classic vintage trailer
like this one is.
