1958 Silver Streak Clipper Vintage Travel Trailer
Vehicle Description

You are bidding on an excellent looking 1958 Silver Streak Clipper Vintage Travel Trailer, that coming with a clear California title. I am selling this for a friend so I will try an answer all questions.   This trailer has great looking exterior skin with no major dings or crush marks,  The entry door has one extra lock put on it and the door handle is broken, but easily repairable. Original entry way step and Glen Aire furnace.  All the exterior compartment doors are in good shape as well.  This unit has had an awning installed  that I have never unrolled,  and a roof mount air conditioner, that I have not tested.  All the windows and screens are in good shape, with two cracked windows.  All the windows close tight.  Some of the window rubber will need to be replaced.  Original roof vents are intact, and all of the ID badges are on the trailer, front, back and side.  The belly pan on this unit is in great shape.  This is a double axle trailer, with fair tires on it.  The unit weight is approx. 5000 pounds, and  has a 2 inch receiver for towing.  95% of the original interior is intact and in great shape, someone  has painted over original interior.  The original aluminum cabinets are in great shape.  And the original Princess 4 burner stove/oven is clean and looks good.  There is plenty of room in the double kitchen sink.  The dinette area has been removed, but can be easily rebuilt.  The pink Krefft fridge is a propane/electric unit and looks good as well.  The bed room in the middle has built-ins for two single beds and tons of storage underneath them.  The full size bathroom in the rear has original shower/tub, vanity and cabinets,  the toilet looks to have been replaced with a 1960's or 1970's Jensen RV toilet.  This is a park model so there are no holding tanks for waste water. The original flooring is solid, and under the casino style carpeting you see in the photo's. This unit was very well maintained, and has a really solid floor and skin.  Again I am listing this for a friend and I hope that I have covered everything, your welcome to contact me.  This is sold as is and untested.  I was told that it was used about five to eight years ago and then put into covered storage, and just recently moved to the new storage area in the Stockton Calif. area. Thank you , and Happy Camping !!!   Delivery and storage are available...
