Much better. Parbond silver is very much like what the factory uses to 
seal skin sheet edges. Parbond clear is just a personal preference and 
should work as well. Parbond is especially useful on the front sheet 
edges. The product wicks into the joint and helps stop moisture from 
being driven in while cruising down the highway. It does not have the 
life span of Vulkem. You will likely find after 5 years or so the 
material will dry out, lose it's pliability and start flaking off. 
Parabond is definitely a finesse product. Takes a steady had to apply.

Vulkem, on the other hand works well with the wet thumb method often 
used on silicone. It will last much longer and is much more flexible in 
joints like those around a window or door frame.

Just keep an eye on the joints over time. As long as they don't start 
splitting and opening up you should be OK.
