[A/S] Diesel milage

O.K.,   Something must be wrong here.  You guys must be relying on the
onboard computer to figure your milage...in the Fords.   Believe me,
that won't tell you the truth for many reasons.  I have used Diesels
for the past 25 years.  Currently am in my fourth Ford and use it
every day.  I can't beat 11 mpg, at the best, tow or not.  It is
superbly maintained because I rely on it.  I must have a 5:12 rear end
in it.  By the way, for you diesel sceptics.........never needed to
tune 'em or replace a spark plug in all 25 years.
