I have a 1992 Dodge Cummins not EFI but has the old reliable  Bosch fuel 
injector pump.136k miles in the city I get 21-22 mpg. interstate  65-70 mph I get 
26-30 mpg. Standard cab long bed.The attraction of the Cummins  is this is the 
same basic engine that for years has been used in tractors  sawmills marine 
and many hundred of industrial uses.My nephew had 400 k miles On  his Dodge 
Cummins and it still did not use oil (new England Salt on road in  winter Rusted 
out  the truck.
