Hunter, I did not intend to stir the bowl, but I guess my post did.  
If you know me, I don't intentionally stir the pot.  Ha Ha.  But, 
there are MANY MANY variables on towing that can affect performance, 
one being cost.  I can find many, many stories of someone losing 
control and totally their trailer - but you still have to ask, what 
were the variables of that incident (weather, tow vehicle, driver 
actions, other conditions).  I was just answering what the poster was 
asking, for advise on hitches, and all he was getting was Hensley.  
I'm sure I can find trailers that were pulled with a Hensley that 
were involved in accidents too.  

 Just as an FYI, I've gone to the Hensley web site and requested a 
video to learn more about it.  But for someone new to our GREAT 
AIRSTREAM way of life, although the Hensley is the "cream of the 
crop" thought by many, you can SAFELY and effectively tow with other 
hitch set ups - just make sure you have the right hitch for the right 
vehicle for the right trailer.  Safe driving practices (not going 
right out first time and tow at 75 mph) and knowing what you and your 
environment around you are doing, is the key.  

I too have heard the horror stories of the trailer and tow vehicle 
rolling, but the over steer to correct by the guy at the wheel is not 
discussed - it is always the hitch that gets blamed!  Slow down, 
enjoy the pull, and take your time to arrive alive!  Be it with a 
Hensley or other Reese type hitch.  

Never intended to offend anyone if I did.
