Re: [A/S] Heated Tanks Forced Air Standard ?
Wilbur,
There is another alternative you might consider and it will work with
your International. The process is called Dry Camping.
Dry camping starts with a winterized coach (no water in the plumbing).
You bring your water in portable containers and when you use it you do
not allow it to drain into the grey water plumbing. A generous handfull
of rock salt in the black tank will allow you to use the toilet and
dispose of grey water. The rock salt will not hurt the tank or valve seals.
On the way home stop at a convenient dump station and you are ready to
go again.
You should maintain heat in the coach to your comfort level. For
extended stays a catalytic heater which draws no 12V will greatly extend
your battery.
