Jim has a very good point about being able to return or exchange a defective
tire.

I don't know where you are located, but in my area - Southern California,
there are a lot of Discount Tire locations.  They can get most any make and
size of tire.  They will also match any competitor's advertised price.  They
also have a web site for mail order - The Tire Rack.  My sister got a set of
Michelin high performance tires from them for her Mercedes and was well
satisfied.  Both Tire Rack and Discount Tire have very good prices.

Discount Tire will also fix any flats (and re balance), rotate and re
balance the tires they sell you free of charge for the life of the tires.

I bought my Goodyear Marathons for my Tradewind from Discount Tire.
