Go to the vintageairstream.com website, in the photo resource section of 
Vintage Airstream Trailers, there is a 1964 Airstream Ambassador 
International. As the owner of this "as manufactured" trailer, I can set 
your mind to rest about the fact it does have a below the floor black water 
holding tank as built by Airstream and not a gray water holding tank as 
manufactured. The grey water drains through the same effluent hose 
connection by means of a "Y" tail piece just outside the blackwater tank 
valve and the large diameter effluent hose connects to this "Y" tailpiece. 
In order to keep gray water from draining continuously, one must keep the 
effluent hose connection capped as there is no valve for the gray water 
discharge as Airstream built these units in 1964.
