Re: [A/S] Ltd Edition ??
Tom,
If I'm understanding what you are describing, the gray curved "metal"
that runs along the bottom of the trailer? That bothers me. What is
rubbing through are the edges of the outriggers. The outriggers are part
of the frame structure. They extend out from the main frame rails which
run from front to back under the coach. The outriggers are welded to the
frame . The flooring is anchored to the outriggers near the outside end
through the floor rail which in turn anchors the sidewall to the
floor/outriggers. The top edge of the belly wrap is also anchored to the
floor rail. In other words there are a lot of pieces that come together
that make that area a pretty darn stable part of the coach structure and
are not normally prone to "vibration".
Something has caused what is commonly called the belly wrap to move
against the outriggers. My experience has been that that kind of damage
is caused by something forcing the belly wrap against the outrigger edges.
