[A/S] NCC, UBW, GVWR

Hi Again.  Looking for some basic information.  The NCC and UBW
combine to make the GVWR.  CC is carrying capacity, right?  What does
the "N" stand for?  Same with the body weight...what does the "U"
represent.  IF my rig is rated to pull 7000 and I want to stay at 80%
(my own safety/efficiency ratio) of that I would want to tow a maximum
of 5600(I'm just making these number up for an example.)  So it seems
I should be looking at the GVWR because the trailer would have a load
plus fluids, right?  I am not purposely not addressing the tongue
weight here, but where does that fit in?  One could have an unbalanced
load of a heavy tow with a light tongue weight.  I have already read
previously about wheel base vs trailer lenght so I'm nbot looking for

PS I towed a overloaded double axle U-haul with a Ford Ff-150 FWD from
Alaska to Oregon and was definately overworking the vehicle and at
times that trailer about got the best of the situation, so I know what
I don't want to do!
