Re: [A/S] batteries (again) was boondocking in the snow
for the batterie engineers:
I have always based my battery purchases on CCA's.
When you're in freezing weather, and you have a car
that doesn't want to start, you learn to buy big CCA's
versus wha the manufactur says your car needs.
So, for my trailer, I've gotten deep cycle (so I can
drain them completely over and over again) with again,
big CCA's.
Reading your statement about waisted space and
capacity makes me think I am missing something very
important, between CCA's and Ah'es.
Please enlighten me.
Ps. I enjoyed the data on the web site provided. I
really like that 235Ah battery. For boondocking, one
or 2 of those should run everything for a very long
time...
