A suggestion.  Don't worry about the market value. If you see an Airstream 
that you like, and want to buy, if you can afford it .... buy it.

You can always offer the seller what you can pay.

The value of older ones run the gamut from free to many thousands, for the 
same year,  depending on condition.

Buy within your comfort zone.
