No no no, you'll scratch the alumimunum beyond repair.

We need to know what year your trailer is, then we can help you remove 
the stripe.  Some years had a blue plastic insert, I am assuming yours 
is an applied decal like thing, in which case use a hair dryer to heat 
it and it will peel off.  Clean the surface with mineral spirits before 
reapplying.  Some cleaners and solvents eat the clear coat, which is an 
expensive thing to have replaced. Not a DIY project.
