         Good point.  I also run the fridge when traveling, and turn it off 
*at the control panel* if I need to re-fuel.  It's a real PITA to have to 
refill the propane lines the next time I need a gas appliance.
         I have a diesel pickup; so turning it off might not seem so 
important since diesel fuel is not as volatile as gasoline.  However, there 
are usually many gasoline pumps in the area, so turning it off is a 
sensible precaution.  I haven't heard of any horror stories about fires or 
explosions attributed to running propane refrigerators, but why take a chance?
