[A/S] Reattaching belly skin

While my belly skin isn't to the point of falling off, some of the 1979 
vintage pop rivits have corroded away causing it to rattle a bit.  An 
easy fix I know, but I have a few questions.

In some locations, the skin corroded around the head of the rivit, 
leaving a 1/4" dimater hole.  My plan is to just use a washer of some 
kind.

I've heard of people using steel rivits with plastic washers to avoid 
contact of dissimilar metals.  I could also get some rivits with over 
sized heads, though they would corrode after a decade or so.  Another 
option is to drill a new hole in these locations.

What is recommended for this?
