If the use is this minimal, why not try solar?  Quiet and constantly storing 
energy in the storage batteries.  There is a couple on a Cortez list that 
converted their entire coach to solar - no generator, and hooked up very 
seldom.  Hubby is a solar power installer for other things so he had the 
knowledge but they lived in the coach while traveling for several months 
last year.  If I remember correctly they powered the AC, the fridge, water 
heater (pretty common even in residential units) and all the appliances.
