This is what makes Airstreaming and the Art of Holding Tank Maintenance a
truly democratic activity. It levels all levels of RVing. 
We hold these truths to be self evident that all Airstreamers are created
equal in that they each must pull their own valves, sluice down the dump
station platform and perform rites of purification thereafter. 
Valve pulling is not for the chicken hearted. When we say True North Strong
and Free, we're just not talking lumberjacks and miners. If you've ever been
down wind of a pulled valve you really get to understand the meaning of
Strong and Free. (That's a strong smell, free in the open air)
Additionally a nearly full holding tank is not for the faint of heart. We
all remember the great relief (npi) that occurs at Rallies, Rendezvous and
the International, when the Honey Wagon arrives. 
There may be great psychological and philosophical truths here, somewhere,
maybe, perhaps......oh well,
