[A/S] Service Manual for '69 Sovereign

I am looking for a Service Manual for our '69 Sovereign. I spoke with
Betty at Airstream and she said they don't go back that far, but many
people find the oldest one they have ('74 I believe) is helpful for a
lot of things. I took a look at some pages of one for sale on e-bay. I
understand that these are usually bootlegged copies, but the pages
they sent pdf's of didn't look all that helpful anyway.

My question: Is the later model manual from Airstream really helpful
for a '69 Sovereign? or would it be better to try some other route?
