Does anyone know where to find an extension cord to make the cable from the 
trailer to the vehicle longer?


Yes.  Walt in Ocala had to do an extension when I had my Hensley installed.  
He had a three foot extension he hooked on to the original cord to make it 
long enough to connect to my truck.  You might email him to find out where 
he gets them or where they might be available.
