The skin you can see.... if it's badly dented so it has a leak you might want 
to pass.  If it's just dull it can be shined, or ignored. Look inside... if 
it leaks you'll see water marks.  Check the floor for soft spots. If the wood 
floor is bad you can pass or know you have a project replacing it.

Appliances.  Have them plug it in a day before you go to see if the fridge 
gets cold.  Have them run the furnace, the water pump, the water heater and the 
stove....

Check ebay.... you'll get a handle.  What are they asking? Depending on 
condition it could be wort anything from nothing to 8,000.00.
