The flat roof was a concept that Airstream apparently couldn't get 
right.  They were very susceptable to leaking at the roof edges, and 
since the interiors were plywood they would fail.  Also made a 
couple of 5ers.  I saw one down at South Jersey RV where the cieling 
and wall panels were just falling off the frame.

I believe the silver ones were clad in aluminum.  Our 91 is clad 
with fiberglass panels.  According to the factory they are all 
framed in aluminum.  The interiors are vinyl clad plywood.
