Oliver,
I guess trying to buy an RV part is like buying at the local auto parts 
store.  When I hear, "They don't make such a part", I can only reply "Sure 
they do.  I'm holding one in my hand."  Sometimes it takes a little digging 
or talking to the right person.

I've gone into the Camping World in Nashville, TN. and found them to be 
completely out of Thetford sewer fittings and the next time they had 
everything I could possibly use in a Thetford.  I saw 2 Valterra adapters a 
couple months ago on their shelf but don't know if they are still there.

I use the Valterra adapter, a Clearview 45 degree clear angle fitting and 
attach a FlushKing to this to rinse my blackwater tank.
