Thank you so much for taking the time to write out lists of neccessary 
items.  It is greatly appreciated.

not the more common 4".>

And this is where we had our only real glitch to a wonderful 1st 
weekend camping with our Airstream.  The dealer where we bought our 
motorhome(which is an Airstream dealer BTW) gave us the 4" so we were 
not able to empty our holding tanks.  Where do we get the one that fits 
the Airstream? We are going back out this weekend for 4 nights and need 
to empty our tanks especially the full gray water one.

I am totally hooked and am wondering why we waited so long.  The 
furkids did great especially with a X-pen fence around the  awning mat.
