[A/S] Re: Newbie lookin for advice ---------

Greetings DB!

When faced with a similar problem with my Overlander, I sought-out a
professional refinisher since I was fairly certain that there was
more than one material in the bath assembly. While my '64
Overlander is several years older than your coach, I suspect that
you may find the same to be true of yours that was found in mine.
There were multiple types of materials used throughout the bath --
fiberglass, Formica, ABS plastic, and some form of unidentifiable
plastic (according to my professional bathroom refinisher). My
regular plumber recommended a local bathroom refinisher who handled
the entire job including at least three different primer/surfacers
and the necessary variants in topcoats in the same color. For less
than $500 the bathroom looks new and has held up beautifully over
the past three seasons. The bath started out as a
faded/spotted/stained Avacado Green it is now a color refered to as
Antique Pewter. You can see photos of the before and after at:

Good luck with your research and project!
