[A/S] Clearcoat/Pre-Coated Finish

during the tour of the Factory during homecoming. was told about the new 
pre-finnished aluminum being used, and that as of then, samples had been in the 
deser and showed no sign of failure, I asked the guide when a/s switched over 
from Clearcoat to Pre-finnished, and he said during the '99 model year......so. 
I guess a '99 could be either. found '99 Limited, so emailed Airstream, all 
trailers from serial number 512613 are using the new aluminum.....don't know 
what month in the model year the swich was made.........
just FYI for others.....
