         I'm not Hunter <G>, but I have a BedSlide, and it really makes a 
difference in loading and unloading your truck.  I had it installed ($50), 
but it should be easy as pie to do yourself.  One note:  On my Silverado 
4X4 std.bed, the single bolt at the rear of the truck (nearest the 
tailgate) was over an enclosed area; so, they could not install a nut on 
it.  Instead, they used a smaller hole (non-clearance) and simply drove the 
rear bolt into the hole; it's in there pretty much for good.  They also 
install two bolts midway up the bed.
         If your truck is parked on a fairly steep incline (front up, rear 
down), you may have a hard time turning the handle to release the 
BedSlide.  I have a smooth-jawed wrench that I use in that case (my 
driveway is roughly 12%, and I have a toolbox and a compressor mounted on 
the BedSlide.  YMMV).
