Yes, the water pump is the only way out.  There is no drain valve on many of
the 70's vintage trailers.  I have a '76 25'Tradewind and have no drain
valve.

The good news is that the original pump is pretty tough, and can run
constantly for a half hour or so to no ill effect.  Juist make sure you are
on shore power so you don't drain the battery.
