Although it's not recommended procedure,
most trailers get lifted the wrong way
once in a while.  If the door opens and
closes OK and there are no wrinkles in
the skin or missing rivets, you are
probably fine.  The longer the trailer
the more likely it is to be damaged by
an improper lift.  On a 28' trailer there
is more danger of damaging the stabilizer
jacks then there is of hurting the trailer,
in my humble opinion.
