Mark, we have a 2005 Bambi and travel with 3 dogs.  I found the bedspread 
that came with the trailer was more of nuisance.  I now use an old 
comforter.  The dogs can be on the bed when I want them out of the way. 
Then at night I put it down on the floor for them.  But a comforter could be 
trashed easily as well.  What about one of those fleece blankets used for 
covering sofas?  I use one of them on the seat in the car.
