Hi Sue,

I have that funky white carpet on my walls. Hate it, covered it with wood. It 
does show dirt, but not dog dirt. Except in the bedroom where the dogs lay on 
the bed against the wall..... nasty there and lots of hair gets caught. I 
have Border collies.

I did rip out my carpet too, and put down sheet vinyl.

No cooking smells, but I don't cook that much.
