Hi All!

I am finally at my home in Boulder, Colorado! Uneventful trip from  
Springfield to CO. for me BUT for my travel-mates, Jim and Chris,  
less so! Their 68 Caddy stopped dead in Kansas at a truck stop and  
both the Caddy and 67 Globe Trotter had to be flat-bedded to the KOA  
that night then back to Denver the next day!

The good news is that Pearl is sitting pretty on my driveway, bad  
news is that my next door neighbors who have a 5th wheel in storage  
are VERY unhappy that Pearl will be staying there for good. They  
highly suggested putting her in storage and I firmly answered that  
she will be staying put. I checked the restrictions before I bought  
the house and I have every right to keep her in the driveway. Their  
house is at an angle to mine and they don't look out directly at her  
so I don't know why they are so unhappy but I figure because they  
were the first house on the street 40 years ago they feel they are  
the mayors of the neighborhood. So for now I have to back off my  
offer of courtesy parking!! I'm going to see if I can modify the  
garage door and roof line to put Pearl inside to protect her from  
winter and hail but for now there's no room at the inn!
