Per Dometic installation specs, the minimum generator that will start and
run the 13,500 or 15,000 BTU units is 3500 watts.  The Yamaha EF3000iSEB is
the a whisper quiet unit that has the ability to output 3500 watts (10 secs
worth) by pulling additional power from the built-in starting battery.  The
Dometic DuoTherm AC units start in under a second, so 10 seconds worth of is
more than adequate.  After evaluating the Honda EU series (two EU2000i or a
single EU3000i), I came to the conclusion that the Yamaha was actually
quieter than the Hondas and I could get it with tri-fuel (LP, Natural Gas,
gasoline), electric start (wireless remote) and so it was the better choice
for my uses.  The bad news is the things are way backordered.  I ordered
mine back in early May and hopefully will have it by early August.
