Kevin,

Popped inside rivets is normally taken as a sign of excessive flex in 
the body. We are talking semi-monocoque construction so each part 
contributes to the overall strength. Generally a lot of rough road use 
or as Andy will correctly point out, out of balance tire/wheels will 
create extra stain and result in pulled interior rivets.
 It is best to keep up with them, replacing as necessary with white all 
aluminum 1/8" rivets. 1/2 or 3/4" will do.
