I have read mostly negative comments about Goodyear tires too. I've been 
running Goodyear tires since 1977. I've never had a problem with them. My "D" 
tires have a maximum psi rate of 65. My AS trailer has a GVWR of 8300 lbs. I 
inflate the tires to 53 psi. I have never inflated my tires to the maximum psi.
