         Interesting...this must be a problem for everyone.  We've tried 
the petroleum treatment, to no avail, and the oil light treatment, to no 
avail.  I'll try the silicone treatment next.  Thanks for the clue, Jack.
         By the way, I use a 1.5" flexible putty knife, instead of a 
screwdriver, to spread the pressure out, with (as you do) Jane on the 
inside applying gentle pressure.
