Another time I had a blowout on I-75.  I didn't know but a van pulled next to 
me, beeped and signaled me to pull over.  Magically there was a rest stop 
right ahead, I pulled in and looked for a space.  

The only available space was right across from another Airstream!

By the time I had stopped and gotten out the gentleman was standing there 
looking at the flat.

He asked if I was alone and immediately took charge. He got his jack and all 
his tire changing stuff and the wife and I chatted while he put the spare tire 
on for me.

Within 10 minutes I was back on I-75. I have to say it was the best flat I've 
ever had <g>

I have to say the only problems I ever have with tires is when they are 3.5 
years old.... or older.
