 Hello Doug, in the Spring, after refreshing tank, I fill the tank 
and keep it full through out the season. I never drain the tank and 
refill. When I get home from an outing, I top the tank off with 
fresh water. I have found that a full tank of water setting in the 
tank will stay fresh. Then the next time you take the trailer out, 
this is one less thing you have to do and it speeds up leaving. I 
have done this for several years now and have had no problems. Doing 
it this way also saves water. I read about doing this somewhere, try 
it and liked. The tank has to be full, while in storage , for this 
to work. When I do have to drain my tank on my 85, I have to turn 
the pump on after I open the drain 
plug.
