It depends which Trail Blazer he is looking at.  They come with two engines, 
the 4.2-6 and the 5.3-8.  

They come is short and extra long...and different rear ends.

My answer, with little info is, if he's looking at the short little one I'd 
say no. If he's looking at the extra long with the bigger engine and low rear 
end I'd say yes. 

Jim is right about if you want to save money get a little car and stay at 
motels.  Towing is not a cheap sport.  It could be much cheaper if people bought 
used, but the new SUVs are so cute...... the problem is the initials SUV don't 
stand for tow vehicle.  

As for the government making more laws....... if enough people start towing, 
and wrecking using too small pullers.... I promise the government will jump 
in.

Lets not swell on the government aspect of this issue. It gets too soap boxy.
