Sam,
The squares came with the sticky backs, that worked pretty well in the spots
we cleaned the floor well. We also applied a liquid to the floor before we put
the tiles on. I can't remember the name, but it was supposed to increase the
adhesive 'power' of the tiles. If you ask a worker at Home Depot, it should be
the product they recommend - that's why we bought it. There were a few parts
of the floor that weren't cleaned as well as they should have and the tiles
didn't stick there well. The good thing about the sqaures is you can take out
one or two if needed instead of replacing a whole linoleum floor.
We put them in just last year, so I can't attest to their long term
durability - sorry.
Brand was Riviera. The cost was $31.05 per box of 45 - 1 foot square tiles. We
bought 4 boxes and had about 1 1/2 boxes left over for replacement tiles. Make
sure when you buy them, you buy boxes that all came from the same batch to be
sure the color of the tiles will be the same.
Hope this helps, good luck
~Rose
